Windows may show a “Windows protected your PC” notice the first time you run the installer. Choose More info → Run anyway. Our certificate is on its way.
A wired headset and roughly 100 kbps per concurrent call is the practical floor for good audio.
Bring your numbers
Porting is free, takes 5 to 10 business days, and your existing numbers keep working the whole time.
What we need from you
- A recent bill from your current carrier showing the account number
- The billing name and service address exactly as your carrier holds them
- A list of the numbers to port, and which should move first
- A signed letter of authorisation — we prepare it for you
Nearly every rejected port comes down to a mismatch in one of the first three. We check them against your carrier’s records before submitting.
How it runs
We provision new numbers immediately so your team can start working in CallVend straight away. Your old numbers forward in until the port completes, then the path switches with no action from anyone. Multi-site ports are scheduled site by site, one cutover per weekend.
Which one should you use?
No. The browser softphone works in Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, and it is the same seat as the desktop app with the same call history. The download is for people who would rather have a window of their own.
Not yet. Windows is the desktop app that exists today; macOS and mobile are on the roadmap and are not available, which is why they are not offered here.
No. Calls travel over your internet connection rather than a carrier plan, on the desktop app and in the browser alike, so no mobile minutes are consumed either way.
It updates itself — you do not have to fetch a new installer to stay current. The download on this page is for a first install or a new machine.
