Every call placed and answered by a human
Dial from the browser or the desktop app, on a number your contact recognises. Recording, consent and the audit trail are handled for you on every call.
No handsets, no VPN
Agents place calls from a browser softphone over WebRTC, or from the Windows desktop app. Same seat, same history, either way.
Recording handled correctly
Where a market requires an announcement before the conversation, it plays automatically. Consent is recorded against the call, not assumed.
Numbers your team shares
Present a number from your workspace pool. Call history and contacts are shared, so whoever picks up next has the context.
Put your team on the phone from a browser tab.
Dial from anywhere in the app
Click a contact, a number in a conversation, or type into the dial pad. The call connects in the browser — there is nothing to install unless you want the desktop app.
A second call does not drop the first
Take an incoming call while you are already on one. The active call goes on hold and returns when you are ready, rather than being lost.
Recording with the notice each market needs
Recording is on for the workspace, and where the number was bought in a market that requires notice, the announcement plays before the conversation starts.
Every call leaves a trail
Direction, duration, outcome and who handled it, written to the call history and the audit trail. Retention is set by your workspace, not by us.
A closer look
Four things worth understanding before you decide.
From sign-up to first call
Create the workspace, verify your identity, and your number is ready. Agents sign in and the softphone registers itself — there is no desk phone to provision.
One screen, nothing to think about
The agent sees who is on the line and the contact’s history. Timers, recording and the call record happen without a click.
The numbers your workspace owns
Each plan includes a number, with room to add more. Calls placed from the workspace present a number your contact has seen before.
The record writes itself
Outcome, duration and recording land on the call automatically, searchable from the call history for as long as your retention policy keeps them.
Everything else on the platform
What people ask about outbound calling
A browser and a headset. There are no handsets to buy, no PBX to configure and no VPN to connect to — an agent signs in at app.callvend.com or in the Windows desktop app and the dial pad is there. A workspace is created as you register, so the first call can happen the same afternoon.
Any number your workspace owns. You choose which one a call goes out on, so a team covering several areas can present the number for the area it is calling — answer rate on a recognised number is the single biggest lever in outbound. It is your own number either way; nothing here spoofs a caller ID you do not hold.
Recording is a workspace setting rather than something an agent switches on, and it is included from the Pro plan upwards. Where a number was bought in a market that requires notice before recording, the announcement plays before the conversation on every call on that number, so it does not depend on anyone remembering a script.
The call, its outcome, its duration and its recording, against the contact and the number — visible to whoever picks the conversation up next. Every privileged action on top of that, including access by our own support staff, is written to an append-only audit trail, and call records, contacts and transcripts can be exported whenever you want them.
Your agents are already on the phone. Put them on better calls.
Set up a workspace, add your team, and take your first call the same day.
